Welcome to the Surgical Technology Program Page!
The Surgical Technology program includes lectures, skill practice in a lab setting, and supervised clinical experience. Our students are amazed at the knowledge and skills they gain during this challenging and fun year. Since we only admit 12-14 students each year, many of our students develop long lasting professional friendships with fellow classmates.
Surgical Technology students are provided a curriculum that combines a heavy focus on human anatomy and disease, microbiology, surgical procedures, surgical tools and technologies to enable them to graduate with entry-level knowledge and competencies. More than 600 hours of guided clinical practice is provided in a variety of surgical settings including inpatient and outpatient surgical and obstetrical units. Students gain experience and have exposure to the latest cutting-edge surgical technologies.
